Biography: As the User Experience Librarian, Lauren designs and conducts holistic assessments of library resources and services so the library can make evidence-based changes to better serve NSC’s growing community. She holds a BA in English and Theatre from Presbyterian College and an MFA in Creative Writing and an MS in Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Biography: As Electronic Resources Librarian, Grace is responsible for leading the electronic resources lifecycle to serve Nevada State’s growing community. She evaluates existing and prospective electronic resources at Marydean Martin Library to meet the changing information landscape. She holds an MA in Art History from State University of New York, Binghamton and a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

Biography: Nathaniel is the chief library officer for the College. He has primary responsibility for planning, developing, and administering library programs; creating and sustaining an environment supportive of teaching, research, and academic excellence. He holds an MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Biography: Kelly is the Systems Librarian at Nevada State College. She customizes, configures, and integrates library applications to help create convenient and seamless access to library resources and services. Kelly holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame, an MA in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Library and Information Science from San José State University.

Biography: As Outreach & Engagement Librarian, Alena creates educational programming and events for the campus community, often in collaboration with student organizations and other units on campus. She is also responsible for developing a range of communications to increase awareness about what the library offers. Alena holds a BA in English and Art from Lafayette College and an MSLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Biography: As the Library Technician, Justine Kae maintains electronic resources including streaming media licenses, print materials, and course reserves. She assists in purchasing, troubleshooting, and keeping resources offered by Nevada State College Library up to date. Justine also manages the interlibrary loan service. She holds a BS in Psychology from Nevada State College.
